About Me

Hey everyone, it's Nick Venuti of The Healthy Yinzer. For starters, I graduated from The University of Pittsburgh School Of Education with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. I want to take a moment to share my story with you, not just as a business owner but as someone who's been through the wringer and come out the other side. I'm sharing this because I want you to know that no matter where you're coming from, change is possible. And when you work with me, you're not just another client; you're someone I genuinely want to help.

I grew up in Verona, PA, a small town where people often find themselves stuck in a cycle of dead-end jobs or worse. I was kicked out of high school and felt completely lost. I tried online schools but couldn't find my footing. I was aimlessly drifting until I started working as a dishwasher in a kitchen with my mom. That kitchen became my first classroom. I learned about accountability, scheduling, and what it means to be an adult. I worked my way up and became a chef, and for a long time, that was my identity.

But life has a way of throwing curveballs. At 24, I suffered a back injury that made it impossible to continue my work in the kitchen. In my quest for relief, I stumbled upon yoga videos on YouTube. I was skeptical but desperate. To my surprise, not only did yoga help my back, but it also started to change my mindset. I began to see myself differently, to understand my own potential in a way I never had before.

This shift in perspective was solidified during a trip to Sedona, Arizona. There's something about that place; it grounded me and helped me see the path I wanted to take. I didn't know exactly how or what, but I knew I wanted to help people. I wanted to be more than just a chef or a guy who had been kicked out of high school. I wanted to make a difference.

So, I got my GED and took a leap of faith by enrolling in a master-level business management class after an 8-year hiatus from education. I thought I'd use this knowledge to help the restaurant I was working at, but then it hit me: Why not use this knowledge to help people in a more impactful way? That's when I decided to go all-in after graduation and launch The Healthy Yinzer. I even sacrificed some personal relationships to focus on this new venture because sometimes, that's the price of growth.

My philosophy is rooted in the Kaizen approach, which is all about continuous improvement. Whether it's your health, your diet, or your overall well-being, I'm committed to helping you improve, step by step, day by day. I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from NHL players and surgeons to streamers. But regardless of your status or background, when you work with me, you get my best. Because at the end of the day, my goal is simple: I want to help you live a better, healthier life.

So, if you're ready to make a change, I'm here to help. Let's embark on this journey together.
